The weird and the unkown

Cryptozoology. What is it I hear you ask. Basically, it's the study of animals thought to be still roaming the planet but are believed by many to be myths, superstitions and extinct; this includes Bigfoot, Chupacabras, Mothman, The Jersey Devil, The Loch Ness Monster, Ghouls, Dinosaurs, The Beast of Bodmin, Hobbits and even Aliens. It's definitely a weird thing to enjoy and admittidly I sometimes have trouble sleeping if I look at the stories too late at night. But it's still possible these things are alive, there is evidence on the internet and records in books; with 95% of the ocean unexplored and many areas in harsh climates still not explored it's possible that we just haven't found them. I honestly don't know how I became interested in all of this but I did and I do enjoy reading about new conspiracy theories and such. I spent a considerable amount of time reading about these cryptids to expand my knowledge of the subject.

A creature captured in a photograph commonly referred to as a Ghoul, The Rake and even a Zombie. It eats humans to take on their form but after a period of time they change back. This is one believed to be in the early stages of starvation. Its just an example but I think there are many undiscovered and frightening creatures still out there.

Finished!

I finished the Minette Walters book finally! Now to write the 600-700 word review. Lets see how well this goes considering the only reviews I ever read are video game reviews...

Got my book at last!

So far the book has started off in the late 20th centuary with the death of a black woman found by the protagonist 'Mrs Ranelagh'. There is a large 20 year time skip after the discovery of her body when we find out her death is still haunting Mrs Ranelagh. Even though I still have much of this book to go it the plot is coming together and I'm excited to read on to find out what will happen.
